Kim Sook is a South Korean comedian, singer and MC. She graduated from Daemyung Girls' High School and later obtained two bachelor's degrees, one in Traditional Costume from Seongsim Foreign Language University (now known as Youngsan University) and the other in Social Welfare from International Cyber University.

She made her debut in 1995 as part of the 12th open recruitment for comedians at KBS at the age of 19 after winning the National College Comedy Contest. In 2005, she released a trot song as Nanda Kim called "Lend Me ₩40,000,000" but during the early 2000s, South Korean TV was experiencing a shift in preferences so work was difficult to find. As a result, both her and fellow comedienne Song Eun Yi decided to produce their own podcast called "Keeping Secret" and even founded their own production company "Content Lab Media VIVO". Due the popularity of the podcast, it led them to host their own radio show "Sister's Radio" on SBS Love FM for three years (2016-2019) and publish a book.

In the 2010s, her popularity increased after being cast in "Infinite Girls", a show that helped get many offers as MC of other shows such as "Video Star" and in 2016 was even part of the project group UNNIES formed by cast members of the show "Sister's Slam Dunk" and that was active for a little over a year. Her career has span for almost three decades as she has become one of the most sought after comediennes that has broken barriers and paved the way for female entertainers in South Korea.

In 2020, she won the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the KBS Entertainment Awards becoming only the second woman to obtain it in entertainment.
